Understanding My Feminine Self is a diary of my progression into womanhood. By using myself as subject — alongside my mother, sister, friends, and partners — I trace connections from my past to my present to unravel my relationship to gender, sexuality and performance. Through staged and documented photographs, I chart my internal landscape, confronting moments of vulnerability, shame, eroticism, power, and resistance. Rather than define what femininity is, this series invites reflection on the identities we inherit and the ones we choose to construct.
