Jamie Jaye (b. 1994, Aspen, CO) is a photographer living and working in the Bay Area. Through self portraiture, collaborations and enviromental studies, she examines how identity narratives are inherited, imagined and felt. Developing long-form visual narratives through digital and analog processes, she studies the complexities of human emotion and perception. Diaristic in nature, her practice explores the delicate relationship between love, fear, and the beliefs that shape our realities.
Jamie earned a BFA from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2017. Her work has been exhibited at the de Young Museum (San Francisco), Casemore Gallery (San Francisco), and Skye Gallery (Aspen). Her commercial work has been published in Vogue, Food & Wine and Modern Luxury.
